Thanks to the South Central Regional Library, TumbleBooks is free for all students in BLSD.

OverDrive is an online resource that lets students access online books from the Manitoba Small Public
Division Consortium - Digital Library. They will sign the books out, can read them on the computer, tablet, or phone and then return them as well. Here is a bit of information to get them going:

1. Click here to go to the OverDrive site.

2. Select Border Land School Division on the drop down menu

3. Your library card information is their student login that they use for their computer. For Example, Bob
Smith would be SmithB.

4. Enter your password. This is set up at school and is the same password they use to login to the
computers at school
. If they are having trouble logging in please ask your child to talk to their teacher at
school for their login information.

5. Once logged in they can follow the instructions to access the books and sign them out.

TumbleBooks in another online resource for accessing books. If you click on the link below you will have direct access to the site and from there you can choose stories to read online. One of the great advantages of the site is that the book can be read to the student with the words highlighted for them to follow along. If they would like to read on their own at their own pace then they can click Manual on the right hand side to allow them to read on their own.
